Digital Champions Award honors in the category "Digital Customer Experience".

Hardly any other topic is currently receiving as much attention as digitization in medium-sized companies. Because thanks to Digital X, Europe's largest cross-industry digitization initiative, small and medium-sized companies can dare the digital transformation. The initiators of the "Digital Champions Awards" are aware of this courage. Therefore, WirtschaftsWoche, the largest business magazine in Germany, and Deutsche Telekom, as the leading service specialist in the telecommunications and IT market, honor companies that are digital leaders in their field with this joint award. BOOSTRACK GmbH was awarded gold in the "Digital Customer Experience" category.

Innovation in German SMEs

"German medium-sized companies are praised worldwide for their innovative strength," says Hagen Rickmann, Managing Director of Business Customers at Telekom Germany. "He has always bravely accepted challenges and reacted flexibly to every new situation". BOOSTRACK GmbH (formerly EFI Ordersystems GmbH) has taken on this challenge and is showing its customers the way to digital materials management and intralogistics.

The Company

Founded in 2018, the company is constantly developing and expanding its product range with innovative combinations of IoT devices and warehousing and logistics. From the BOOST.Tower vending machines to the BOOST.Warehouse and the BOOST.App, industrial customers can equip their company for Industry 4.0 with little effort and thus work more efficiently. Sensors record the inventory and consumption, reordering is easy at the push of a button or completely automatically. The BOOSTRACK system is a flexibly scalable solution that can be connected to all common, ideally existing, data interfaces for merchandise management and database systems.

"We feel honored to receive this award," said Christian Gerken, Alexander Pawel and Stefan Milcher, managing directors of BOOSTRACK GmbH. “We founded the company not only to offer our customers optimal solutions in the areas of procurement and logistics, but also to prepare them for digital change. We also take the last mile, so it was natural for us to take this step. The digitization and automation of production and procurement processes offers a great opportunity to increase efficiency. Especially in markets where a good product alone is no longer enough, far-sighted companies can significantly increase their lead in this way.”

For more than 20 years, Christian Gerken, Alexander Pawel and Stefan Milcher have been working with their team on individual and process-optimized procurement concepts and software solutions with the goal: "Only when routine work in purchasing, procurement, production and material management is considered as a whole there is room for new things. We are all the more pleased that we not only inspire our customers, but also that we were able to convince the jury of the Digital Champions Awards with our digital solutions.”
